Privacy Policy

How the private Drum Rise Analytics application uses Google and YouTube data.

Drum Rise Analytics is a private analytics utility operated by the Drum & Rise creator. The public website does not provide access to private YouTube reports or Google Sheets.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Drum Rise Analytics Google OAuth application and the informational website at drumandrise.com. The application is used by the authorized channel owner for internal performance reporting; it is not offered to the public as a service.

2. Google user data accessed

With the account holder's permission, the analytics application accesses YouTube channel and video information, non-monetary analytics (such as views, watch time, engagement, subscribers, geography and traffic sources), and monetary analytics (such as estimated revenue). It requests read-only YouTube and YouTube Analytics scopes. It does not request permission to upload, edit, or delete videos.

3. Purpose and use

The data is used solely to track the authorized creator's channel performance, produce internal reports, compare content and periods, and make business and editorial decisions. The application does not use Google user data for advertising targeting or resale.

4. Storage and access

Analytics reports are written to an access-controlled Google Sheets spreadsheet belonging to the creator. OAuth credentials are handled in the privately configured Google Apps Script environment and are not included in the public website's files. Access to the spreadsheet and script is managed through the creator's Google account permissions.

5. Data sharing

Google processes authorized API access and spreadsheet storage as a service provider. This informational site does not automatically send private analytics data to visitors, advertisers, or AI services. Any future third-party integrations will require separate configuration and this policy should be updated to reflect them before use.

6. Retention and deletion

Reports are retained in the owner's spreadsheet while needed for historical channel analysis. The owner can delete spreadsheet reports, remove the script and its stored credentials, disable scheduled triggers, and revoke OAuth access in Google Account connection settings. Revoking access prevents further authorized data collection, but does not automatically delete previously stored spreadsheet reports.

7. Website hosting

This website is a static site hosted by Cloudflare. It does not have a visitor account system or collect information through contact forms. Cloudflare may process standard technical connection information to operate and secure the website; see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

8. Security

The analytics workflow is designed around read-only YouTube permissions and private Google account access. No system can promise absolute security. The creator is responsible for maintaining account security, controlling spreadsheet sharing, and rotating any exposed credentials.

9. Changes and contact

This policy may change if the analytics application or data-sharing practices change. For questions concerning the application, use the developer support email displayed on the Google OAuth consent screen. For general creative inquiries, visit the Drum & Rise YouTube channel.

The application is intended to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements. This is a practical policy draft for the described private configuration and should be reviewed whenever the workflow changes.
